John is a really good instructor. He told me everything about the test, including many small details and what to expect during the test. We drove on the DMV testing routes multiple times, which helped me be confident and sure of myself during the test. 

He was also very patient with me whenever I made mistakes, and was also a cool guy to talk to in general. During our last lesson, we talked about life and I got to know him better. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have him as my instructor and our short time together has been great.

I want to write this review to thank John helping me passing my Behind the Wheels Driving Test. John has been an incredible fantastic instructor. His way of teaching is strict, but absolutely necessary. He was patient and very very well prepared on all the traffic rules.

My son's permit was about to expire and we were thinking he would have to start the permit process all over again. Luckily, he had a lesson with John Shin the week before the expiration date and John gave him useful tips, built up his driving confidence and encouraged him to take the test before it expired. 

Luckily, he was able to get an appointment within a few days and although it wasn't at the same city that my son practiced, he passed the driving test on his first try just in the nick of time!

We are beyond grateful for the incredible instruction and my son was so happy not to have to study for another driving test over the summer!
